We are hiring an EHS Manager in Salina, KS! Our EHS leaders play a crucial role in maturing the culture and cultivating the One Safe mindset needed to meet the organization's performance standards.  Together, as One Team, we owe it to everyone to create a hazard-free workplace and ensure everyone goes home safely every day.  

The EHS Manager leads safety, health, environmental, and risk management programs across our logistics and distribution centers.

This role serves as a trusted business partner to DC leadership, supporting warehouse operations, serious incident prevention programs, and regulatory compliance.

What You Will Do:

• Lead and execute EHS strategies, programs, and initiatives that support distribution center and logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, workers' compensation, and environmental requirements.
• Partner with operational leaders to identify risks and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
• Facilitate incident investigations, root cause analyses, and follow-up action plans to prevent recurrence.
• Lead the implementation of safety policies, programs, standards, and training initiatives.
• Support and coach frontline leaders on safety accountability, hazard recognition, and injury prevention strategies.
• Manage safety committees and employee engagement programs designed to improve safety performance and culture.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs, reporting, inspections, and interactions with regulatory agencies as needed.
• Support workers' compensation, return-to-work, and claims management processes.
• Lead emergency preparedness, response planning, and business continuity initiatives.

What We Look For:

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Risk Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• A minimum of 7+ years of progressive EHS experience in logistics, distribution, manufacturing, transportation, warehouse operations, or related industries.
• Demonstrated experience implementing EHS programs and driving safety performance improvements.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, workers' compensation, and environmental regulations.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
• Strong communication, influencing, and leadership skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to lead training sessions and present to large and small groups

Preferred

• Experience supporting multi-site distribution, warehouse, transportation, or DSD operations.
• Experience with fleet safety compliance programs.
• Experience leading EHS management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $93,000 - $154,000 annually with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus, which is based on organizational performance. The salary range represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
