Our brand-new, 360,000-square-foot Asian-style food manufacturing facility in Sioux Falls, SD, is taking shape — and we’re ramping up hiring for key roles. We’re looking for a Training Coordinator to be the heartbeat of learning and development at our Sioux Falls, SD facility. In this role, you’ll make sure our teams have the right skills, knowledge, and confidence to meet production goals—safely, efficiently, and on time.
What You Will Do:
- Partners with manufacturing leadership to execute and improve training processes that support plant performance, safety, and quality.
- Coordinates and administers facility training programs, including tracking progress, assessments, and ensuring training materials meet site requirements.
- Collaborates with supervisors, labor scheduling, and trainers to review the Skills Matrix, identify skill gaps, and ensure timely training to meet production needs.
- Documents standard work changes, updates training materials, and serves as a resource for managers and employees on training needs.
- Supports New Employee Orientation, evaluates trainer effectiveness, and may facilitate Train‑the‑Trainer sessions.
What We Look For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience. Previous experience in a manufacturing facility preferred
- Sound knowledge on manufacturing practices within a facility.
- Basic understanding of standard work documentation.
- Effective presentation skills with the ability to effectively develop, design, and deliver learning solutions to a wide variety of audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills(both written and verbal).
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and influencing skills.
- Strong facilitation and organization skills.
- Fully proficient with Microsoft Office Programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to quickly learn new software applications.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, able to prioritize and meet budgets, deadlines and achieve objectives.
- Ability to lead cross-functional improvement teams.
- Effective communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
What We Offer:
The base salary range for this position is $48,000 to $80,000 annually with eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus; that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography, etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
