We are hiring a Sr Marketing Associate to join the Foodservice Marketing Team. You will assist in developing and executing marketing programs and will work with cross-functional team members to identify objectives, key phases and product categories, performance metrics, develop ideas and plans and executes accordingly. Assist in working on delivering key information, metrics to assess the program and plans to support the program.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the management of marketing programs as directed to develop objectives, strategies and tactics to achieve long-term growth and profit objectives.
- Manages promotional activities that may include print, electronic media, event marketing, campaigns, direct mail,point-of-purchase displays and signage.
- Manages technical components of activities/programs and understands the operational support required to execute
- Manages program/campaign priorities by creating work plans with tasks, milestones, dependencies, deliverables andrequired resources
- Provides overall project management as well as objective creative review.
- Leads and/or collaborates with cross functional resources and agencies in order to execute marketing programs inareas that may include but are not limited to product development, branding, packaging design, advertising and effective customer/consumer promotions and special events
- Assesses and escalates risks to program /campaign deliverables and sustainment in a timely manner to Marketing Managers, Director, Sponsor, etc.
- Provides day-to-day budget management support for the Marketing team (eg, coding invoices, creating reports tomonitor spending against plan, gathering estimates, etc.)
- Leverages both quantitative and qualitative information such as consumer research, competitive intelligence,syndicated & secondary data and sales input to customize efforts and sustain our competitive advantage, build strong customer relations and develop annual brand/product plans
- Measures program/campaign performance and effectiveness and is expected to digest, understand and share metrics with key stakeholders
- Represents the team on different projects working with cross-functional team members , and internal/external vendors
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years experience in a marketing, sales, finance focused role
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Understanding of marketing strategic frameworks
- Project Management and financial acumen/analysis
- Experience performing business analysis and synthesizing multiple sources of data into actionable insights and strategic implications
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex projects
- Passion and accountability to drive growth
- Intellectually curious and passionate “self-starter”
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively, lead, and influence cross-functional teams, all levels of management, and external agency partners to deliver results
- Personal initiative and willingness to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly evolving environment
- Thorough understanding of general business principles, including effective analytical skills
- Project management skills including strong attention to detail
