We are hiring a Sr. Inventory Planner to work in either of our corporate offices in Bloomington, MN, or Marshall, MN. This role is responsible for ensuring that all inventory is properly planned from the source of production to the point of customer sale, to fulfill service objectives while minimizing costs in multiple locations. The Sr. Inventory Analyst Planner is the Subject Matter Expert regarding driving service and financial objectives through data maintenance, process monitoring, analysis, and reporting capabilities for maximum efficiency. A Sr. Inventory planner should be analytical with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Executes day-to-day activity of inventory planning and is responsible for leading complex work between multiple cross- functional groups of Demand Planning, Transportation & Warehousing, Customer Service, FSQ, and Supply Planning.
- Ensures inventory levels are optimized in support of the customer service policy and attainment of the business/financial goals and oversees the inventory position in all Depots, DCs and 3PLs# utilizing the Blue Yonder & SAP planning system/ processes.
- Maintains and monitors min/max inventory levels and safety stock policy throughout the distribution network through weekly analysis & reporting. Will adjust inventory settings as necessary to support forecasts, service and financial objectives.
- Develops and implements replenishment models & timelines such as seasonality, pre-builds, new launches, and promotions of existing items.
- Develops cost/benefit analysis template to assess inventory rebalancing to minimize Excess & Obsolete inventory risk.
- Effectively maintains master data & product life cycles by ensuring new products / SKUs are set up and demand is flowing properly through the network, and discontinued products / SKUs are efficiently & effectively managed.
- Working with the Supply Planning Team, coordinates inventory pre-builds to maximize asset utilization throughout the year and engages demand planning to formulate adjustments when necessary working to ensure service level & inventory objectives are met.
- Maintains and improves the company's inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics to determine which products are selling and which are not.
- Ensures the effective use of advanced information technology including system design, development and adherence to supply chain business processes ensuring effective integration with, data integrity, reliable results, and competent usage by teams.
- Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: BA/BS in Supply Chain, Operations, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics or similar areas.
Years of Related Experience: 5+ years
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of multiple areas of the supply chain, logistics management, inventory planning, operations, distribution, transportation, and procurement.
- Advanced mathematical skills with strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDA, Blue Yonder, BOBJ, Webi, etc.).
- Being an Independent and analytical thinker with the ability to lead and do data analysis to resolve complex problems.
- Superior attention to detail and a high need for accuracy.
- Superior communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
