This position is responsible for providing administrative support to a member of Schwan's Executive Committee.


  • Performs complex administrative duties in support of a member of the Executive Committee and staff including the handling of confidential details and assignments
  • Coordinates the executive's schedule, expenses, meetings, travel, etc. Schedules appointments without prior clearance
  • Monitors all incoming calls, messages and mail, handling as many responses as possible independently with a high degree of discretion
  • Organizes, prioritizes, and summarizes data, materials, and information.
  • Prepares reports and summaries and organizes data for the executive's review Anticipates, prepares/revises, and sends correspondence on behalf of the executive
  • Creates, maintains, updates, and reconciles spreadsheets and various reports to support the executive's decision-making process
  • May provide work direction and training for employees and other staff members
  • Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.

Experience & Education Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Solid PC skills including expertise with MS Office and Outlook.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of business unit structure, policies, products, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an extremely high degree of sensitivity for confidentiality.
  • Ability to gather, organize and analyze data.
  • Very high sense of priority, logic and objectivity.
