We are hiring an Associate Marketing Manager to join our dynamic and driven Foodservice Marketing Team. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for building brands, for work that is both analytical and creative, for collaboratively leading and working with cross-functional team members and agency partners, and who can be a driving force to help our brands win with our consumers and customers.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Brand Management
- Responsible for the development of a channel or brand’s annual operating plan including product innovation, renovation, go-to-market plans, marketing support, and sales tool development
- Monitor performance against our goals (Sales, Profitability, Penetration) as well as overall business health
- Lead roll-out of annual plans to the field sales team
- Support the team-sell approach for strategic customers, including presenting trend and product information to customers
- Contribute to development of market research projects
- Assist in volume forecasting and planning
Communications Planning
- Lead development of creative assets from agency brief development to final production
- Partner with in-house graphic design, social media, and digital marketing experts
- Maximize effectiveness of marketing plans through deep understanding of positioning, target operators and ongoing performance measurement
- Effectively manage budget for assigned responsibility
Innovation / Renovation & Cross Functional Project Leadership
- Support the commercialization of new products in collaboration with cross-functional partners; can include innovation, renovation, and line extensions
- Brand lead for new item commercialization; can include writing business cases, volume forecasting, concept refinement, consumer research, packaging design work, go-to-market support plans, sales material creation, and post-launch performance analysis
- Lead the creation of marketing plans for new item launches in collaboration with agency partners and the Senior Marketing Manager
- Identify global insights, market trends, competitive activity and whitespace opportunities to contribute to our brand’s innovation roadmap in support of our strategic growth plans
Qualifications:
MBA required but will consider part-time MBA students close to graduation
3+ years experience in a role involving marketing, sales, finance, strategy (ideally in a food industry or CPG)
Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex projects
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Understanding of marketing strategic frameworks
- Experience performing business analysis and synthesizing multiple sources of data into actionable insights and strategic implications
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex projects

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively, lead, and influence cross-functional teams to deliver results

- Thorough understanding of general business principles, including effective analytical skills
- Project management skills including strong attention to detail
