What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with sales force and customers to evaluate and increase the effectiveness of new products and promotional efforts, as well as remaining informed of trends and potential adjustments needed for marketing programs
- Monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services making use of market research to create marketing campaigns based on consumer/customer preferences and buying habits
- Conduct competitive analysis by assessing current market strategies in relation to internal approach & make educated recommendations to drive insight & results
- Lead a marketing project including creating deliverables to meet goals & deadlines
- Assist with coordination and management of multiple marketing and advertising activities to promote products.
- Lead and support in the development of the annual brand, product, channel plans
- Provide analysis in the areas of consumer trends competitive intelligence syndicated (i.e., IRI) information and secondary research.
- Lead the day-to-day management of specific brand/product groups
- Provide on-going analytical support in the areas of sales forecasts, demand planning and budgeting and profitability
- Guide research appropriate for the brand, product, or channel in the areas of marketing effectiveness, consumer trends, trade and competition

- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Must be comfortable navigating through ambiguity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels
- Strong organizational & time management skills
- Ability to prioritize work in order to meet important deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Computer proficiency: MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must be a self-starter with a proactive approach to work
Qualifications
- Candidates should be currently enrolled in an accredited Master of Business Administration program with an emphasis in Marketing graduating in Spring 2024.
- GPA of 3.0+ preferred.
