We are hiring an Associate Marketing Manager to join the Enterprise Marketing Team! We’re looking for someone who has a passion for building brands, for work that is both analytical and creative, for collaboratively leading and working with cross-functional team members and agency partners, and who can be a driving force to help our brands win with our consumers and customers. In this role, you will work on strategic initiatives that have high growth goals and high internal visibility.  Sound exciting – then apply!

Responsibilities:

Strategic Portfolio Management

  • Contribute to the development of the company’s long-term strategic growth plans through analysis of consumer trends, competitive intelligence, syndicated consumption data, and secondary research
  • Monitor category performance and overall business health against our internal and external KPIs/goals; be the subject matter expert of your brand/product line’s volume, profit, and share performance
  • Analyze external consumption and internal P&L data; create and present portfolio performance reporting decks to senior leadership through monthly business performance reviews
  • Continuously find ways to improve upon the company’s Strategic Portfolio Management competency by developing new tools, tracking, reporting and metrics.

Long-Term Category Building

  • Act as an internal consulting partner to business unit marketing teams by helping to identify and lead projects that solve large strategic business issues.
  • Lead the development of long-term innovation for your category in partnership with business unit brand teams. Can include writing business cases, volume forecasting, concept refinement, consumer research, packaging design work, go-to-market support plans, sales material creation, and post-launch performance analysis
  • Take an enterprise approach to building a category demand forecast with recommendations for future resources and capabilitiy requirements.
  • Be the voice of our consumers and the champion of our brands; ensure brand consistency and connectedness across all channels within a category.

Qualifications: 

MBA required (will consider part-time MBA students close to graduation)

3+ years of marketing, strategy or business development experience in a corporate setting

Project Management experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Understanding of marketing strategic frameworks
  • Experience performing business analysis and synthesizing multiple sources of data into actionable insights and strategic implications
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex projects
  • Consumer-first mindset
  • Passion and accountability to drive growth
  • Intellectually curious and passionate “self-starter”
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively, lead, and influence cross-functional teams, all levels of management, and external agency partners to deliver results
  • Personal initiative and willingness to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly evolving environment
  • Thorough understanding of general business principles, including effective analytical skills
  • Project management skills including strong attention to detail
