We are seeking to hire a Sr Customer Operations Analyst at our office in Marshall, MN. This position is responsible for Food Service freight analysis and inventory oversight. The position supports efficient freight and/or execution activities that ultimately enable high-quality customer experiences as well as supports inventory allocations and shortage communications as well as assistance with samples for product launches.

What You Will Do:

Freight

  • Develops business tools and models that enable the delivery of financial and strategic goals. Provide observations to team leaders via reporting and insights.
  • Analyzes, validates, manipulates, and interprets complex data from cross functional partners to develop solutions and optimization opportunities.
  • Performs analysis of new logistics approaches and develops cost/benefit analysis, balancing tradeoffs between customer needs and costs.
  • Leads complex initiatives that have multiple interdependencies and cross functional implications.
  • Recommends and analyzes KPIs on business metrics to support the needs of the business.
  • Supports cross-functional planning to and gathers key data to align on solutions that meet customer and business needs.
  • Responsible for reviewing and monitoring customer logistics fines for freight and pallet claims. 

Inventory

  • Actively involved cross functionally with Demand Planning, Customer Service, FSQ, Warehousing, Transportation and Supply Planning, this position will execute inventory strategies to support fill rate goals and logistics efficiencies.
  • Utilizes reporting on daily/weekly basis to maintain system to support and achieve fill rate targets and to take corrective actions where necessary. Work with Supply and Demand Planning, Business Units and Logistics to overcome obstacles to higher fill rates.
  • Reviews aging inventory on regular basis to minimize obsolete or excess inventory, creates and monitors action plans to minimize inventory liability, including follow up on hold and blocked Inventory for disposition as well as inventory rebalancing.
  • Works with cross-functional partners on customer reporting and activities that ensure service level and inventory objectives are met, including inventory allocation and customer shortages.
  • Partners with Marketing on new product launches and coordination of inventory movements to support launch.
  • Responsible for reviewing and monitoring customer logistics fines for shortages. 
  • Responsible for managing auto shipment requests.

What We Look For:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Years of Related Experience: 5+ years of experience
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: In depth knowledge in logistics and/or inventory. Intermediate PC skill including Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skill in Excel, SAPBW; advanced analytical skills; advanced ability to detect trends; intermediate skills in comparative analysis, the ability to work effectively and cooperatively within teams. Strong competency in computer-based design and analysis tools. Proven broad business knowledge and organizational awareness. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Needs to be technology savvy in order to drive effective means of reporting critical business.

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000 annually, with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance. The range reflects factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and starting salary may fall anywhere within the stated range.
