Your Impact:

• Infrastructure Security: Collaborate with IT Operations and Solution Delivery teams to design and implement a resilient IT security infrastructure, aligning with the company’s security strategy.
• Vulnerability Management: Regularly conduct vulnerability scanning and assessments to identify risks, making cost-effective recommendations to improve overall security posture.
• Internal Auditing & Risk Assessment: Perform security technology audits and assessments, recommending enhancements to fortify security measures across the enterprise.
• Monitoring & Incident Response: Actively monitor internal and external environments for potential threats, suspicious activities, or incidents. Support the incident response plan, including investigations and remediation.
• Security Technology Implementation: Research, recommend, and implement cutting-edge security technologies, ensuring compliance with the overall enterprise security framework.
• Communication Security: Oversee communication security protocols, including PKI, certificate management, and encryption to safeguard data integrity.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with key regulations like PCI, HIPAA, and PII, helping the company stay aligned with industry standards and laws.
• Collaboration & Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with external security partners and industry experts to stay current on trends and best practices.

What You Bring:

• Education: Current enrollment in bachelor’s Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related degree program with an anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026. GPA of 3.0+ preferred. 
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Security expertise of security tools (i.e. next generation network and application firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, encryption, identity and access management systems, file integrity monitoring, network access control
  • Cloud security experience on major vendor platforms and mobile device security
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of current and evolving technologies.
  • Certifications demonstrating trust and expertise across all components of information security (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) are preferred.
