Sales Operations Specialist - Foodservice Business
Hopkins, Minnesota Job ID 26-1733 Date posted Feb. 26, 2026 Category CorporateDrive strategy, analytics, and process improvement for a fast-growing national foodservice business
At CJ Schwan’s, we don’t just make food — we help create moments that matter. From kids devouring pizza after soccer practice, to students laughing over dumplings in a cafeteria, to families enjoying pie during the holidays, our team members play an important role in bringing those everyday moments to life. Our portfolio includes iconic pizzas, global flavors, and timeless desserts from brands like Red Baron®, bibigo®, Tony’s®, Big Daddy’s®, Villa Prima ®, Chef One ®, Twin Marquis ® and Minh®. Enjoyed in homes, schools, restaurants and just about everywhere people shop and eat, our products reflect a commitment to quality, innovation, and the power of food to bring people together.
We’re hiring a Sales Operations Specialist to join our Field Sales Planning Team supporting our rapidly growing Foodservice / Away-From-Home business. This is a high-exposure role at the center of commercial execution where you’ll help turn strategy into action across operators, distributors, contract management groups, GPOs, and K-12 school customers. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership to support reporting, tools, materials, analytics, and executional priorities that help our teams win in the marketplace—this role offers a true seat at the table.
This role is designed as a career accelerator — giving you unmatched visibility, hands-on experience, and exposure to how a leading food company drives growth across customers and channels. Many top performers in this role go on to careers in Sales, Sales Planning & Marketing.
What You Will Do:
- Sales Analytics & Reporting: Analyze sales reports, dashboards, and performance tracking tools for the Foodservice sales team. Translate data into actionable insights that help field teams prioritize opportunities and address risks. Support forecasting, performance tracking, and KPI reporting across customers and channels.
- Execution & Sales Enablement: Assist in the coordination of sales materials and presentations that support selling initiatives and product launches. Coordinate sample requests, sales assets, and program materials for customer meetings and selling priorities. Partner directly with field sales teams 1:1 to support reporting, tools, and execution needs. Assist in onboarding new sales employees and ongoing HQ support. Provide guidance of Zone Sales personnel in at least 1 (one) Sales Division.
- Planning & Process Support: Help manage internal tools, trackers, industry events, customer events, and planning resources used across the Foodservice team. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Work across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to support execution of commercial priorities. Support industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings from a planning and logistics perspective. Contribute to special projects, strategic initiatives, and ad-hoc analyses for leadership.
What We Look For:
- Bachelor’s degree ideally in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Finance
- 1+ years of internship, co-op, or professional experience involving analysis, reporting, coordination, or sales support
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, building reports or dashboards
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint and visualization tool preferred
- Exposure to CPG, Foodservice, Sales, or commercial analytics environments is nice to have
What We Offer:
The base salary range for this position is $54,000 - $89,000 annually with eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus, which is based on organizational performance. The range reflects factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and starting salary may fall anywhere within the stated range.
Beyond base salary, we offer a competitive Total Rewards package designed to support your overall well-being, including comprehensive health benefits, time off programs, and retirement and financial offerings.
