We are hiring a Director of Business Planning to work out of our corporate HQ in Hopkins, MN. In this role, you will oversee the management and execution of the business processes between our Pizza and Specialty (i.e. desserts) business units and supply chain that will lead to the delivery of products to our markets.
What You Will Do:
- Lead coordination between our Pizza and Specialty Business Units and Supply Chain teams to support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, ensuring alignment on priorities, execution plans, and strategic objectives.
- Manage demand forecasting and forecast accuracy at the item, location, and weekly levels by aligning supply chain plans with sales and LSE forecasts to optimize inventory deployment across the network.
- Improve cross-functional communication and speed-to-market initiatives by streamlining processes, facilitating collaboration between leadership teams, and driving continuous improvement efforts across operations and supply chain functions.
- Support strategic planning and business performance initiatives by developing actionable solutions, aligning Business Unit and Supply Chain strategies, and participating in executive staff discussions to ensure effective decision-making and information flow.
- Conduct post-launch reviews to identify process improvements, maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices through professional networks, and provide leadership, training, and development support to team members when applicable.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Engineering, Management or the equivalent. MBA preferred.
- 9+ years of experience in a CPG organization, preferably in food manufacturing or a closely related industry.
- Experience leading a business, technical or operational function or managing complex programs. PMI or equivalent certification desirable.
- Excellent program management skills, and ability to lead, facilitate, and organize teams. Must have excellent interpersonal and motivational skills.
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end supply chain and interconnection of each link.
- A Customer Focused mindset, dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Obtain first-hand information and use it for improvements in products and services.
- A great Negotiation instinct; you can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups, peers and superiors; can settle differences with minimum noise; can win concessions without damaging relationships; can be direct and forceful as well as diplomatic; gains trust quickly of other parties to the negotiations; and have a good sense of timing.
- A strong sense of Leadership as you exchange information with appropriate people to complete work and develops your team to keep growing. Ability to embrace an entrepreneurial spirit in work through recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities and challenging the status quo.
What We Offer:
The base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $200,000 annually with eligibility for a 25% annual incentive bonus that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
