GENERAL PURPOSE
Describe the basic function of the job; the reason the job exists.
This position is responsible for supporting the distribution of goods within a cold storage facility and ensuring
maximum efficiency, quality, and customer service in the most cost-efficient manner. As directed by leadership, the
incumbent will ensure that the day to day operations of the facility and shuttle operations are executed properly and
that all goods are maintained and distributed according to Company and government guidelines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages and maintains product inventory in accordance with the Integrated Manufacturing Technology Road mapping (IMTR)
Initiative standards and company accounting practices and policies. This includes, but is not limited to, accurate
stock rotation and proper cycle counting.
Manages inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of products, proper pick sequencing, accuracy of records, and
timeliness of orders. Performs routine audits as needed.
Minimizes finished goods waste by ensuring proper product rotation.
May plan and coordinate shuttle operations including the loading/unloading of trucks. Ensures that products meet our
freshness, packaging, and food safety standards.
Enforces safety guidelines and rules, GMPS, HACCP checks, food safety and security requirements as well as all
company policies and government regulations. Ensures that all materials are stored in accordance with temperature
requirements and food safety standards.
Supports supervisors with training and development of team. Assist with backup support for supervisors.
Other duties as assigned.
Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Diploma or (or equivalent) Bachelors Degree is preferred. Years of Related Experience: 0-3
years Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: General knowledge of Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Inventory Record
Accuracy, Cycle Counting Procedures, Inventory Control Procedures, Food Safety Requirements, Warehousing and
Distribution; Knowledgeable in the maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment;
Knowledgeable in truck loading operations, yard operations, and reefer unit trailers; Intermediate PC skills with
experience in Microsoft Office; Good math and communication (written and verbal) skills
