Responsibilities:
- Perform standard to advanced electrical repairs, installations, and equipment adjustments using a variety of power tools, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues, applying effective corrective actions to minimize downtime and support production flow.
- Lead or assist in major electrical projects including construction, installation, and repair of plant infrastructure and equipment systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and electrical repairs on cords, motors, panels, and related components; replace starters, relays, switches, fuses, and disconnects as needed.
- Execute advanced troubleshooting tasks including voltage testing, circuit diagnostics, PLC I/O module replacement, and frequency drive analysis while interpreting complex electrical schematics.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent required, with 5+ years of relevant electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in working with solid-state circuitry and electrical systems ranging from 110V to 480V.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, with the ability to size and install electrical panel components and build automation enclosures.
- Experienced in diagnosing and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and in using electrical and machining tools for testing and repair.
- Strong understanding of Arc Flash safety, with the ability to lift up to 90 lbs. and obtain a forklift license as needed.
