(Overview)

The Route Sales Specialist (RRD) sells delivers and/or merchandises Schwan�s products at retail stores where routes are open within a designated geographic area. The incumbent is further responsible for delivering against designated revenue/volume targets and driving superior in-store execution. Delivers and merchandises Schwan�s products at existing retail stores in a safe and timely manner. Maximizes in-store opportunities through incremental sales activity and increases product display space in retail stores. Achieves national customer service standards on all deliveries and in- store execution. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with store level personnel. Effectively handles and resolves any customer complaints. Stocks and maintains products on store shelves. Maintains product displays monitors product codes and ensures retail price tags are properly displayed. Achieves annual KPI metrics for the DSD Retail Sales organization. Responsible for inventory integrity. Maintains compliance with all DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations as well as Company safety regulations policies and procedures- including reporting and record keeping. Communicates with manager and/or local affiliates on truck condition issues. Other duties as assigned. Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission values code of ethics policies and other standards of conduct.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent Years of Related Experience: One or more years of related experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must meet Federal Department of Transportation driver eligibility and medical certification requirements and must possess a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) from state of residence; Must have a mobile device with voice and text capabilities; Must be willing and able to work weekends overnight hours and travel as needed; Basic math and language skills; Ability to operate and maintain company equipment including handhelds computers etc; Effective oral and written communication skills; Strong time management skills; In certain geographical locations other languages may be preferred.
